NEW & IMPROVED: This sturdy tracing board has 2 sides to it - one side with patterns and shapes, and the other with numbers.

The curved grooves let kids trace safely with their fingers or the tracing stick. This comes with 50 coloured pompoms as well - you can choose from monochrome, bubblegum and winter. Arranging the pompoms takes a lot of concentration and also helps refine fine motor skills to train up those finger muscles essential for writing! Other than using the pompoms, your little ones can also fill the board with coloured rice, dry beans or stones/pebbles.

Tracing helps build muscle memory as they learn to write independently. Associating these numbers with physical quantities of items are also very important to help them understand the meaning behind these numbers.

  • Natural beech wood
  • Dimensions: 29cm (l) x 23.5cm (h)
  • Includes 50 coloured pompoms (1cm) of your choice
  • Age recommendation: 1-5 years old
  • Items used to create the playscape are not included
At 18 months, Leia is too young to learn how to write numbers, so we use it as a guide to help her understand small quantities (1, 2 and 3) with the use of pom poms. She has also taken a liking to scribbling, so we use the shapes and pattern side a lot more these days.
